PRIVACY.

WETHCAT.app and the WETHCAT apps for iOS and Android. They share one server and one set of accounts, so this one policy covers all three.

• Account: for an email, Google or passkey account, your email address (or Google's account id and verified email), username and display name. For a chain account, the public address of the wallet you signed in with and its chain. We never ask for, see or store a seed phrase or private key: signing in is one signed message, never a transaction.
• What you post: Theses, comments, replies, photos, GIFs and videos you upload, your profile (name, bio, picture), follows, likes, bookmarks, shares, reports, blocks and mutes.
• Connected wallets: if you connect a Robinhood Chain wallet (to buy $WETHCAT and for Nine Lives), its public address, and the $WETHCAT balance we read from Robinhood Chain to decide holder status.
• Device and sessions: for each signed-in device, its type and app or browser name, when it was last active, and how you signed in. In the app, the push notification token Apple or Google gives the app, if you turn notifications on.
• Security: a keyed one-way hash of your network address (never the address itself), used for rate limits and to stop spam, duplicate accounts and referral abuse.
• Usage: first-party, cookieless counts (for example page views per day) and server-verified Thesis views. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no selling of data.

Your username, display name, profile picture, bio, chain (for chain accounts), Hunter number, Theses, comments, follows counts and badges are public. Wallet addresses are never shown in full publicly. Who you blocked or muted, your bookmarks, sessions and email are private.

• To run your account and show your Theses and profile.
• To rank and recommend Theses from real engagement, count Daily Hunts and decide holder status.
• To send the notifications you turned on.
• To keep WETHCAT safe: moderation, rate limits, blocking and abuse prevention.

Netlify hosts the site, database and uploaded media. Expo, Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) deliver push notifications. Google, if you choose Continue with Google. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Market data providers answer market searches (no personal data is sent). Blockchain RPC providers answer public balance reads for connected Robinhood Chain wallets.

In the app: You → Settings → Delete account (it works before launch too). On the website, once WETHCAT is live: Settings → Delete account. Deleting removes your profile, username, email, sign-in methods, connected wallets, push tokens and sessions, and takes down your Theses and comments. Records that can't honestly be erased stay, anonymised: the append-only points ledger and verified on-chain payout records. Each chain account is separate: deleting one doesn't touch your others. You can also ask us to delete it from the support page.

WETHCAT is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; tell us and we'll delete it.
